Deep wrinkles such as frown lines between the eyes, forehead lines and crows feet are caused by overactive muscle movement which gradually wear away the collagen in the skin, causing the skin to crease and wrinkles to appear. Botox/Vistabel relaxes these muscles, preventing the formation of wrinkles and smoothing out lines.

The treatment we all know as Botox has now been formally approved for cosmetic use under a new name Vistabel (meaning beautiful view!) Botox and Vistabel contain exactly the same tried and tested formulation, from the same manufacturer, Allergan.
